Another video...

New color? Not very exiting...
Agree it looks very similar to current design, I bet a non porsche owner/enthusiast wouldn't note the difference. Now that roof? Why make things so complicated? roof delete for me

Overall I like it, I'll reserve my final judgement until I see one side by side with a 997

Looks like another winner from Porsche to me! i guarantee we're all going to love it - now the interior - I'll have to see more of that - I saw a picture of that today in the new issue of Panorama - guess you guys have or will by tonight. I'm not quite feeling it like I did with the 997 but it'll most likely grow on me! All the 911s have been winners except for the 996 with those slab sides - till you got to the 4S - with some hips.

Who was it that said the 993 has the best rear - Damn right - that car still is a beauty! Wish I had my 993 back too. But so goes it.

This new one will be a great car I'm sure!

I think it's beautiful but I'm curious about the 3.4 engine? Higher output? What about the S model? I was actually thinking that we'd see the 4.0 as a standard engine detuned for the regular Carrera and tuned for the higher output models.....shows what I know. This is the first time they've gone back to a less displacement --what do you guys think about that. Of course who knows till we see what the specs really are. Should be interesting but the interior does look Panameraish! I'm sure it will be cool.

Evolution, not revolution.

Hmm.. looks cayman-ish to a degree and the front more rounded. Back end..ok I guess but I agree that its not a huge change form the 997 to a non-Porsche person. Looks longer and flatter to me...like the Panamera is (low to the ground). Inside? Just think Panamera/Cayenne and cut and paste it into the new car I think from what I've seen. Am sure it'll run great and perform..sounded awesome on the video's of the S.Africa test I saw posted earlier.

I'd opinion that the real question is how much more for the next evolution? Is it worth it to move from a GTS? or later model 997.2? That and this economy will be the money question here I think....a significant increase in price point for a vehicle that is NOT a significant evolution or improvement over the current chassis (997.1 or 997.2) may actually cause less in sales of the 991 other than those who have to have the newest and latest and for whom $$ is no object. I mean for those who bought in on the recent releases of the 2011 and 2012 GTS cars especially...why upgrade? It seems that the Panamera and Cayenne are carrying Porsche sales recently...not sure if that is cause folks are waiting for the new 991 OR they are less inclined to spend so easily on what to many may seem as an extravagant purchase (luxury sport car) in today's economy and with the past week's market gyrations?

Is it me or does the front underside look like a sad frown.

Looks cool. Are those headlights curved? Reminds me of a 904. Looks better than a 997.2, certainly from the rear. 997.2 rear lights just don't work for me. 991's led's in front are difficult to assess.

It looks significantly larger in the back, like everything has grown in size from the doors back. Curious how the added length will affect the overall look in person.
