Sounds great but what's with the new color?

Nice sound, thanks for the vid. Sorry for the Hijack.

I promised myself, having chosen not to wait for the 991, that I wouldn't get involved in "which is better debates" b/c I'm invested and can't really be impartial. That said, if the sunroof on that car (991) is what PAG has in mind, well, to my eyes, Bleech! It's bad enough that we don't get a sunroof delete. Then, to make matters worse, on those rare occasions while driving a 991 when you decide to open it you get a flap that looks like it's just hanging there. At least on the 997 PAG had the decency to hide the roof when it was retracted. Maybe there's some mechanical/aerodynamic rationale for it, at least I hope so.

Of course maybe this only bothers the comparatively few enthusiasts.

Nice, the car looks good, even in that awful color...

Holy toupe batman!! Whether its aerodynamic or not, that roof just looks silly. Then again, when I am driving the car, I really don't see the sunroof anyway.

Call me crazy, but from some angles there is something very 993-ish about the new 911...

Sounds good and looks good.

Nice find. The car in the video is pretty close to the real deal, the camo tape hardly provides any disguise at all.

I'm a cab guy so that roof wouldn't impact me!

Although I think their is something cool and throwback about the look....I like it. I'm surprised about how good the rear looks. I'm not too crazy about the front and the lights but who knows how it'll wind up.

We'll see soon.

I like everything except the guy taking the video. That was awful.
I also think it's funny that this is the new 911, it's clearly out and about...but the only part of it that they are hiding up are the totally insignificant parts. Tail lights, front bumper. ???

I like it. Not too different but more modern in appearance. Not sure about it needing to get bigger though...

Gotta say the roof is the only thing I've seen/heard about the car that really bugs me. I hope this version of the roof is either optional or they change their policy and allow for a sunroof delete.

Have to say I'm not over impressed by the exhaust note. It's the one aspect of a modern 911 that for me disappoints, the stock exhaust tends to be a little too conservative. I realize you can add a sport exhaust, but for me the stock exhaust just isn't aggressive enough, they tend to be perhaps a little too inoffensive.

Ok: You're crazy. Smacks more of Jag than 993 IMHO.
