Default 991.2 PDLS+ intermittent low beam.

My right low beam warning message has started to come on fairly constantly now. I’ve verified that the light is in fact out when the message is present. I can switch the lights off for a moment and the code will clear and the light will come back on only to fail again in a few moments. Not sure what is exactly failing but I suspect the module that I believe is mounted on top of the headlight assembly. Regardless, I believe I’ve found a replacement on eBay for a decent price. My question is does anyone know how to check to make sure the part number shown on eBay is correct for my car? Is it just a simple call to the dealer? I believe one has to remove the fender well to access the headlight assembly in order to remove it. I’m looking for an easier way.
Thanks,
Paul.
