Default “Rear Camera Install Thread” - water leak point?

Since buying my C2S Aerokit Cup, the right engine fan has been missing the rear two grommets. I didn’t think much of it since the fan still sat mostly snug, and the selling dealer brushed it off at CPO delivery (they didn’t have the grommets in stock, and I didn’t really care, although I did point it out). I mentioned it twice to my local dealer during service and offered to buy them, but they never replaced them. SA said it didn’t matter, but I’m pretty sure it was just overlooked. And I’ve never gotten around to ordering them myself online which is what I should do.

HOWEVER, now reading @Dimitris76 rear camera install thread -- through which he removed one of those grommets, and it’s apparently just open to the cabin. So is this causing a water leak? It looks like these allow a path for water to come right into the car?

So I need these. Is the grommet part #? 958 110 673 00.
Is there a part # of that little black rubber washer that goes in the hole / that has in his photo?

Sorry @Dimitris76 for co-opting your pics, I didn’t want to pollute your thread.

I am not done with the camera install yet.
It was Friday night and had to quit and go out, but I will continue today and post pictures how I modified that rubber grommet to pass the cable through - protecting the camera cable from the sharp metal edge and waterproofing the passage.

Having said that, those openings - even if let open - DO NOT ever see water!

The reason is this plastic part that lies along the top edge of the fan bay (see post #6 - https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1493...l#post20318758 )

It's rubberized top lip comes in contact and seals against the engine lid when shut, deflecting all water over the sides.

Don't take my word for it.
Close the engine lid and pour a bottle of water over the rear glass. Let it run, then open the lid and inspect around the grommets!

I would put those grommets back there if I were you though.
It’s just 5 bucks for both of them and 5 minutes of your time.
