Default apple car

hello,

I just switch my 997 to a 991.1 targa gts and of course I'm looking to install the car play, I ve done it in my previous 997 with back rear camera and all of that, and now I'm looking for the best way to install it in my 991.1.

Thank you all

Realistically, There are only two options you should go with.

Mr.12 Volt if you want to retain the stock head unit (important if you have bose/burmester)
Some info on MR.12 Volt

CHSTEK if you want to go the android head unit route.

I have the Burmester system in my 991.1 and I decided to install the Mr. 12 Volt system. Overall I’m pleased with it, especially the sound quality and the wireless connection.

I’ve had to deal with a couple of quirks with the system, but overall I’ve got it setup the way that I like it now. Some people have reported smooth operation with no quirks, but I am not among them.

Good luck and enjoy the upgrade.

I installed the JoyAuto system w/ backup camera all in under 5 hours. Running the backup camera wire took a little finagling but got it to go. Auto Amateur on YouTube has a very detailed installation guide. Have had it installed for about 2 years now and have had zero issues.
