Default Infamous Disappearing Error Codes

Well, it all started with the traditional 'Fault Cooling System' error code which is the only code that stays lit and upon checking with the Foxwell scanner, it appears to be the COV for the symposer. Had a COV go last year for the heat and these seem like Christmas Tree Bulbs, they just keep going out one by one. In the last week or so, I am now occasionally getting the magic trifecta of codes, all at once, Fault EGR, PSM Error and Start/Stop deactivated. The PSM usually pops up first, randomly at any time during a drive and usyally clears when stopped. Yesterday I was sitting in the parking lot waiting for my wife, car idling perfectly and then all of a sudden it 'shuddered' for and instant and the EGR fault shot up on the screen. We continued on our drive and about and hour later, it felt like we ran over a rumble strip and the PSM error flashed on. We continued on for the next few hours and no issues driving at all.
Stop the car when we got home and now the Fault Coolant and EGR stay lit upon restart. My dealer seems to think all of these error could be inter related to one component fault. Any ideas??

Default For me

I would replace battery then all 7 COV valves to ensure I had the latest version. They are cheap known to fail and have several updated part numbers. If memory serves you want the "F" version. I have access to reasonable labor and buy my own parts.

Thanks for the reply. The battery is only a few years old and holds charge very well from what I can tell. After I replaced the one COV last year, I figured I was on 'borrowed time' of sorts before just biting the bullet and changing them all out. As the faults seem to come and go, are they stored anywhere in the system that the dealer would only be able to access? I can't resurrect them but maybe the dealer can dig deeper as I can't imagine there isn't a running fault registry somewhere in the system just for these purposes.

Default If you are dependent on a dealer

I would try to diagnose the actual problem. If a fault code is intermittent it will take weeks and cost thousands. Are there no independents in your area or are you under warranty ?
