I'm looking to get DSC for my 991.2 TTS. There are a lot of sites offering it, does it matter where I purchase it from?

 

I would only purchase it from the source.

Not sure it it is even sold through anyone else.

all the places you linked are valid, vetted retailers for performance bits and bobs. most of those are sponsors here, even.

 

Given that there is no price benefit and more importantly the reports about melting cases of these controllers and/or controllers that stop functioning I would only buy this from DSC directly to have the best chance of repair/replacement should something go sideways. My $.02
