Just ordered mine as they are on sale now.....will get in about 3 weeks. I had one from another company on my 992 and loved it so I am anxious to get this one. Moshammer is making the install very easy, just like my other. Which is remove the top plate wing and bolt this in place and deactivate the wing. My other wing had the 3rd brake light but it was exactly like the OEM version. You can see the Moshammer for 991.2 is just slightly lower profile so you can see the 3rd brake light, but not too low that is loses the styling. Looks great to me and will ship in approx 3 weeks. Keep you posted.
Not what I am looking for… 🙄
Was there ever a factory duck tail? Do you know the part number?
there is, check Suncoast parts for the 991.1, its the Sport Design Ducktail but also $3250. If money no concern there you go. If you want to save a little, then Moshammer is very close but slightly lower profile. Or there is a Sport Design one on ebay in California for sale for $2350. Saves $1000 over the new one at Suncoast

Thank you for the answer!
I love the duck tail look, but I don’t like the Sport Design front bumper 🙄
I am reading elsewhere though that these two components need to be aerodynamicaly combined though.
So I wonder what happens if I install only the duck tail and leave my standard Carrera 991.1 front bumper cover on?
Is this going to ruin the car’s stability at high speeds or it’s just won’t be as good as a car with the full Sport Design kit, but not worst than before?
I don't have specific data but this was the response I got when I inquired about the ducktail back in August:
"In Germany, it’s not allowed to bring products to the street without TÜV-approved testing. We have already successfully completed all required tests including the high-speed run at 308 km/h and the thermodynamic cooling tests exactly as demanded by the German Kraftfahrtbundesamt, all passed without any issues."
What a load of crap. 🤣🤣🤣
These aftermarket parts are not tested by any Institute or Government body and certainly NOT from the German TüV!!!
They are sold under paragraph 19.3 of German vehicle code that covers all DIY modifications and just asks for an inspection of the car’s road safety, like the one we annually have here in Europe (it’s called MOT in UK, besiktning in Sweden, KTEO in Greece and so on).
A guy (or gal) walks around the car with a flashlight, pushes with their hands on any extra accessories you might have bolted (or glued) on you car to make sure they (hopefully) won’t fly away and hits the ok button in his computer. 😉
I can assure you that no one did any “thermodynamic cooling tests” at 308km/h on this Chinese piece of plastic… 🤣🤣🤣

Moshammer is out of question.

Dimitris,
I am running the Porsche Duck with full reprograming for the 3rd brake light and factory rear wing deployment notice. So far at speeds up to 100 mph I see no issues with aero.
I have not made up my mind regarding the front bumper cover and what road that might lead to on my build. I did change the lip spoiler from the standard lip to the sport lip for now.
The car has been now lowered about 25mm on the TechArt springs.
