Default Enable auto unfold mirror?

Is there a way to enable the side mirrors to unfold when put in drive? I sometimes forget to press the button to unfold when I put it in drive. I looked at the settings but couldn't find anywhere it could be set. Am I missing something?

My mirrors are set to fold when locking and unfold upon unlocking. They can be manually folded with the button but I never use that given the auto fold feature. I have never tried this but maybe the mirrors will automatically fold out after driving a certain distance or hitting a certain speed. I have had BMWs that did this.

If the mirrors automatically retract when you turn off engine and lock door, it should automatically open when you start the engine. In MFD there should be a Mirror Retract that you activate.

Got this from my manual. Hope it helps.

I've always been confused about why my mirrors don't automatically unfold at a certain speed. This was super helpful. I had no idea there as an automatic option. Nice!

Ah... I see what I've done wrong. I fold them manually while driving into the garage, they won't fold out manually. And there doesn't appear to be a way to override it.
