I got the notification on this today too. It’s WAY overpriced, but I had to have it. I ordered it this afternoon.

First thought, I can't believe how expensive that is...
Second thought, what does mine look like?...
Third thought, oh, it's just plastic, would be nice for it to be metal...
Fourth thought, what else should I package with this for my free shipping bundle from Suncoast 🤑

I would like to see them anodized in different colors, esp black. Want that stealth look. Price around under $100.

Yes with an option to match the car color or whatever you want. I would consider Carmine Red.

I believe it is designed to be reminiscent of the original 917 key.

Has anyone else received there’s and had problems with it being too rough/notchy while inserting and turning?

My original plastic fake key inserts and turns smoothly, but the new historic key is rough to insert and rough while turning. My 991.1 C2S has a 02/2012 production date if that matters.

It looks nice, but it feels like it’s going to break something while turning it over:

I’ve filled out an RMA with Suncoast, but wondering if they’re all like that.

I'm going to get a CF version of the dummy key from DB Carbon and save $100.

Mine was a little bit tight when I first installed it, but it seems to be fine now.
