Aside from confirming if I have auto dimming mirrors, is this what I need? Is this the whole unit and not just the mirror? Is it such that I cant just replace the mirror?
I just had some idiot on a bike kick my drivers side mirror and left it hanging. I just bought an OEM one on ebay for around $400 that is my same color so you might look at as an option if you need the entire mirror.
The housing is fine, and the motor still moves the mirror I guess Im trying to understand if I can just replace the mirror or am I replacing the whole thing?

There are YouTube videos on how to replace side mirrors.
Thanks, the prices are about equal to Suncoast so I guess the glass is just that expensive, wasnt clear if for that much I was getting more than I needed Glad to know Im not missing something

Ive done this job before. The mirror comes applied to a plastic backing. That sandwiches the heated mirror pad in between. It heats up when you turn the rear glass heater on.
The old mirror just needs pulling out and you pop the replacement in. I paid 110£ directly from Porsche, mine was heated but not auto dimming.
