Cool. Yeah $65k for PDK is a fairly healthy budget to work with, I saw a low miles example recently in that range, a ‘12 black C2. Manuals tend to be a 10% premium, worth it in my opinion but PDK is a great unit by all accounts.

as the other individual mentioned, there are lots of 991s. Prices do remain pretty steady even given the high production volume. I think reliability, modern amenities while being the last NA model has something to do with it.

If you’re willing to go convertible, cabriolets are great deals and the more rigid 991 chassis offers little compromise as compared to coupes. Best luck wit your search!

ps - having imported CA cars to US before, there’s 3% duty and need to facilitate via an importer. Maybe search forums for how easy it is for Porsche corporate to provide paperwork otherwise there’s a waiting period before importing consider as well.

The car I mentioned in the opening post - $52k w/ 82k miles - was a standout of what I've seen so far, though somewhat higher miles and lacking maintenance records. That car was gone in 2 days.

I've been watching a well equipped PDK Canadian '13 991 w/ 52k miles for ~$60k USD which is somehow still under warranty and has good maintenance records. I've also been keeping a close eye on new listings, and am trying to get a feel for what's a great deal so I feel confident jumping on something before it gets snapped up.

Manual isn't a hard requirement - I've been coming more around to the PDK - and it seems pretty much impossible to find on any of these lower-priced 991s. Good to know about the rec matching on the late '13s+, that's something I'd ideally like. I've also been cross shopping with well equipped S and GTS 982s.
No matter what "experts" here suggest, you are not going to find a clean (no accidents, great maintenance), sub 40k miles, 2015 Carrera S PDK (Cabrio or Coupe), fairly well equipped ($130k+ MSRP) for anywhere near $65k.
If that is what you're after, I would up the budget.
However, even though, there is not (much/any) difference between the 2013 and 2015, you would have a better chance with the earlier edition since they sold at lower MSRP originally.
