I purchased a Bilstein B16 coilover set for my '18 991 Carrera 4 GTS last year. kit (49-279047). I have only just realized that this kit is for a front axle lift vehicle.
Mine is not and I am unable to return or exchange.
Other than trying to sell the kit and purchase the proper one (49-216042), what are my options?
Adding FAL seems too costly. Purchase a KW H.A.S kit or ER sleeve kit for the front?
Any suggestions welcome. Thanks

I would try and avoid mixing and matching 2 kits if possible.

I would try and list the B16 kit on the marketplace or locally (at a speed shop/tuner shop locally as well) and source the proper kit.

What I would do is call Bilstein, they are pretty helpful over there. Ask them what the part number differences are between the two kits. I would get those parts if it's just the springs or some adapters, and not a completely different front damper.

For instance, I could sell you a set of used non-FAL front springs for cheap, I have them in a box in the garage.

I am going to take a wild guess and say that the only difference is the diameter and length of the front spring, but Bilstein will know the answer.

try calling Bilstein and see if they can help, if not, just sell the kit on the market place and get the correct one for your car

I believe that the difference between the two available kits, is that the FAL one doesnt have a threaded body.
Without the FAL part, there is no lower spring perch.
What a stupid mistake on my part. Likely going to the marketplace.
