Just to close this out. I used a borescope and tried to inspect them. It was impossible to get in and really see anything. I replaced the gasket and put everything back together. Seems to working ok.

I do have an iCarsoft Max that I use. I wondering is there anyway to measure boost / pressure in each of the turbos independently to verify that it is still even?

The gasket looks OEM. Typical multi-layer metal. The exhaust pressure would have blown any of those bits outward. I'm sure the turbo is 100% fine.
