Letter
He requires a letter of documentation from Porsche based on your VIN number. This letter documents the car was built consistent with US standards. He said I needed to get this from Porsche headquarters in Atlanta.
I understand it is next to impossible to get that letter from Porsche headquarters in Atlanta.
Any assistance as to how to obtain the Letter of Conformity would be greatly appreciated!
You can call Porsche to see if it meets US specs. Emissions, Electronic interference, Braking, lights etc
KPH will need to change to MPH..
The car may have to go through the US Homologation process.
It's the buyer who needs to this. A seasoned broker will do all the work for him. It's not rocket science, just a lot of paperwork.

checked now but couldn't find that link. It seems from the thread linked above that procedures have changed nowadays. May be leave it to the buyer/ importer to sort it out.
I bought and imported a Land Rover (private party sale) from Canada to US awhile back... $7800 cost above and beyond purchase price. Still have it though. So I'm happy.
If buyer can't do it 100%, he/she should cross the Canadian cars off his/her list.
PS also make sure there is no confusion about the price being in CAD vs USD. Happens all the time...
