Bumper/Fender Gaps

Bumper/Fender Gaps
Looking for thoughts/advice on a cosmetic issue on the front of my 2013 C2S. The gap between the bumper and fender on the passenger side is noticeably greater than the gap on the driver side. The gaps between both side markers are pretty even. Is this fairly common, am I being too finicky? Some may not worry about it, but it tends to bug me. For those who had this issue and corrected it, what was involved with the adjustment, and were you able to do it without completely removing the bumper? Many thanks!

I wouldn't have noticed it if you hadn't brought my attention to it and even looking closely at it after knowing I can barely tell the difference. If it bothers you that much I'm sure a body shop will be happy to take your money but this is really one of those situations that I'd leave well enough alone. Fixing one problem can cause others though. Sometimes the cost of perfection simply isn't worth it. But that's me.

You're right to look around further to see if there's a cause.
I will say though that the bumpers of the 991 (rear especially) come on and off even with routine service or repairs, and every time either of mine goes back on, I notice it needs a very slight bit of fiddling to get it perfect (my car has never been wrecked).
So it could just be an adjustment issue after a routine bumper removal to do something up there.

There is a 'hair pin' style clip that pulls this gap tight.
The clip may be bent or not fully engaged.
The other thing to look at is the front edge of the headlight where it meets the bumper skin.
Is it in contact with the bumper skin preventing the bumper moving back to close the gap?
If so, the headlight might not be fully engaged & tight.
