Default 991.2 sport design front bumper to a 991.1 c4s

Does anybody know if I can fit a 991.2 sport design front bumper to 991.1 c4s? What parts do I need if that is doable
thanks

It's possible.

So wide body (C4) / narrow body (C2) front bumpers on Carreras are the same. sport design or not. So that's good news for you.

But -- You'll need every single bit of plastic and fastener that comes on the 991.2 sport design front bumper.

Wiring the front turn signal / DRL's is a bit of a fiddle based on what I've read here. There are posts about it though and seems easy enough. This is because the 991.2 has the 4 little DRL's in the headlamp. The 991.1 has the DRL in the front bumper mounted turn signal.

I am unsure if you will need new headlamps or not. Something tells me there's someone on Rennlist who converted 991.1 to a 991.2 bumper, left the 991.1 headlamps, then eventually converted to 991.2 headlamps.

Note the 991.1 headlamps use a lower bracket mounted on the car. The 991.2 headlamps have the bracket integral to the headlamp.

*** I looked into this when I was shopping for 991's last year, as I do prefer the 991.2 front Sport Design bumper and lip arrangement on non Aerokit cars. Seems eventually it would cause an issue and unnecessary conversation about devaluation when selling the car (which I don't plan on) because no one wants to buy a car that is a Frankenstein'd 991.

Here’s the big thread by user @JuanK20 - really informative and inspiring. I did a rear conversion for my 991.1 C2S.

For the front, you can retain the 991.1 headlights and side markers, but you will need to switch to the 991.2 DRLs. Headlamp washers are a deal breaker when it comes to compatibility of the bumpers - filling the holes or making them is additional work!

I’m waiting to complete my ducktail project first before doing a front conversion for my car 😊

Yes, as @shyamvenky said, you can retain the 991.1 headlights with out any issues.

As long as the 991.2 bumper is complete, (grills, brackets, DRL's, ducting) then the swap is pretty much plug and play.
