Question 991.1 Coolant Tube Replacement

I searched the forum, read the posts about common failures, and haven't found anything about replacing a coolant tube/pipe on a 991.1. The closest thing I found was talk about catastrophic coolant leaks on (slightly) older GT cars and those all seemed to be resolved by a dealer.

The car is a 2013 991.1 Carrera S, 2WD, Manual. I have a cracked coolant pipe that needs replacement. Its the large rigid metal pipe that is connected between the center pipes and the motor, labeled as the supply side water tube, diagram below.

Has anyone changed one of these out yet? The factory manual lists step 1 as "remove motor", but I'm hoping someone else here has figured out how to sneak one in with a partial motor drop or some other cool trick. If the motor does need to come out, any guides I may have missed would also be helpful. Thank you in advance.
