It's one of my favorite 991 models. It's just paint, trim, wheels, and the powerkit engine but it's a really classy and special way they put it all together. I really like the package - it's special enough to me to want one.
It's even more than that, you are forgetting the wide body, in addition paint/trim/wheels/engine.
I do love the look of the 50th anniversary... but not sure I completely agree with the full premium (depending on what you can get it for). You can get a 4CS with similar level of trim... add the fuch wheels and sports trim for ~$10k if that is what you really need. Personally, having an S, 4WD, and 7MT manual for most likely a cheaper price would be more of a factor than some the trim badging.

Way more than a GTS at this point. Try... to find another and see what's its asking price is. More than a GT3 maybe. A 50th will hold its value better.

Yes, the 50th is more equivalent to a GTS, although it’s classified as a wide body S with a power kit.

I knew when I saw the 997 GTS come out, that I wanted a 991 GTS. When the 50th came out it was immediately recognizable as a pre-991 GTS. Sure enough, the next year, 2015, the 991 GTS came out and it was mechanically the same as the 50th. I think it is the best non-GT 911 since the 993s.
I couldn't commit to a 50th when they were unveiled, but actually put down a deposit and ordered a 2015 GTS as soon as they were available about 10 months later through military sales while stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. Shortly after placing my order for a summer 2015 delivery, the factory pushed me to a 2106 model based on delivery date.
While I waited for the 2016 GTS specs to come out, I found my 50th at an Ohio dealership with 4k miles on it and six months of use. Jumped on it and had it shipped right back to Stuttgart. Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed it almost every weekend carving up the Black Forest as well as reaching 196mph on Autobahn 8 between Stuttgart and Munich. Oh, and if you drove in normal mode shifting the buttery manual gearbox up to 7th and took it easy, you could get 31 mpg. What an amazing all around car.
People still stop me all the time to comment on it. Never gets old even after 100K miles!

You can definitely find pre-GTS 4S's with 7MT and the powerkit. If they're anything like mine, the original MSRP's are probably waaaayyy above what GTS's sold for since the people checking the X51 box were likely going wild on the Porsche configurator when they ordered.
The 50th Anniversary edition is very classy and that interior is gorgeous. I had an opportunity the month before Covid to buy a CPO 50th anniversary with 50k miles for $69k, the big catch was that it had 2 separate accident dings on Carfax. I passed on the car because I was worried about resale since it had already sat at the dealer aggressively priced as a CPO for 6 months. Online I also loved that Geyser Grey which looked more white/grey, but IRL it's very much a creme color and wasn't to my liking. The interior is drop dead gorgeous though with the stitching and 50th anniversary green highlights. I probably would have done well to buy that car even with its issues, but it didn't speak to me. I'm glad I waited a few more years to find my Dark Blue Metallic 991 with BURMESTER which was my personal most desired option haha.

I'm really not sure what to say here except I (respectfully) hard disagree, because the Bose is lacking a lot of fidelity and the Burmester is night and day difference. My first 991 had Bose and even with the Musicar upgrade it was very disappointing. Of course there is diminishing returns no matter what audio system you have in the 991 due to the ambient noise and cabin layout.
As you know, audio input is huge. I only use CD's since I'm driving in back country with no service anyways.

Better pics when she actually arrives. 8 years looking for this specific spec: Color, 7SPD, SR delete, Sport Seats, low miles, no rear wiper. VERY VERY hard to find. Looking fwd to the experience.
