So long story short, I ended up removing my spoiler and the harness to install a fixed spoiler hood.
Thanks to the community I was able to program out the spoiler. But I’m still having the third brake light Cel issue.

I was thinking it would be as easy as just replugging in the harness without anything but the led light, but it still doesn’t seem to power the LED at all. I tested the LED and it is working as expected.

I put a voltage meter on the wiring harness when plugged in, and when the brake is pushed in, I’m not seeing anything near 12v for power. Just the 5v congruent power.


any ideas? Does the led need to be plugged in then battery disconnected for it to reset and look for the break light
