991.2 Speaker Loud Cracking
Hopefully I can get some help here. After about 45 minutes of driving, a crazy loud cracking sound comes from the speakers like a rock hitting the windshield. A few crackling sounds continue for 5 seconds or so and the speakers shut down. The PCM remains fully functional with NAV, Car Play, Spotify, etc. all operational, just no sound. After the car is shut off for a few minutes, the speakers work on start-up for about 5 minutes and the issue repeats. Had the car checked and alternator, battery, belts, pulleys all ok. Replaced the battery anyway for the 50k service hoping that might be the issue but no love. Any ideas would be appreciated!
