Gravel Trapped
I have heard stories about how the rear arch trims hold debris but I am shocked.
My T is a pretty low mileage car. Summer driven only. The rear arch trim on one side got scuffed so I figured I would change it. It’s cheap enough.
There had to be 1/2 cup of stuff in there, the other side must be the same way.
Has anyone figured out a cause or fix?

things get between panels, it's just a fact of life for that area of a car. lots of folks make it an annual or semi-annual ritual to pull and clean those out.

I always find gravel everywhere. Perhaps the designers imagined clean roads, but around here the state and county DOT liberally spread gravel all winter long (November through March).

Those Porsche engineers are super smart. Must be for weight distribution. Lol
So no one has figured out how to keep the gravel out of these rubber pockets? There isn’t even a drain on these. Pretty silly. I am going to take a look when I change the oil this spring.

Yeah, it’s always something with these cars specially, with the stones. If they’re not hitting your car, they’re finding a place to live in your car, It’s funny. The 911 is a complete stone magnet. Don’t care how much PPF you put on it. It’s an inherent problem , hard to keep a nice looking car nice on the roads today! Especially if it’s a black one or just leave it in the garage and just look at it anyway it’s gonna stay in good shape and you won’t have to deal with the stones!
