Default Extending CPO

Hello all.

I recently purchased a CPO from a private party. I registered my car on the porsche website as my own and upon doing so was told that:
The Certified Pre-Owned Warranty is two years or unlimited mileage. This warranty covers manufacturer shortcomings in materials and workmanship for all components except for tires. Your Certified Pre-Owned Warranty, it is valid until 04/29/2024. You also have the Corrosion Warranty which is valid until 04/12/2026.

For those of you who purchased similar vehicles did PNAG reach out for extending the warranty?

Thank you!

You would have to contact your local dealer and ask to have the CPO extended. They will also either confirm that all maint work was done by a porsche dealer OR have an inspection done.

This. Extension of CPO requires all services be up to date. If not showing in the system, an inspection will be required by the dealer. My car's CPO expires October 2024. A call to the dealer suggested if I wished to extend CPO coverage, doing so at time of the car's annual service is the best option.

Be prepared to pay several thousand dollars to Porsche NA for this privilege. Additionally, the dealer will tack on labor and/or inspection fees. You might want to compare with an aftermarket warranty.

I'd personally go with Fidelity after my cpo was finished IF I lived in the US.

Canada has limited good aftermarket warranty options.

Default unlikley to proceed

Hi all,
in view of your comments and the fact that the 991.1 in manual form has less likelihood of anything catastrophic happening. No IMS No Borescore No PDK etc etc etc , and the fact that I dont want to throw good money after a bad money, ill pass on this.
I have 39k miles on the clock and the cleanest DME one has seen and most importantly my indy says we are running perfectly so.... ill bank that $$$
