Default 991.1 GTS Traction Control Thoughts/Help

After a month of driving my new to me 991.1 GTS on my favorite roads, I have a few observations.
  1. This thing has an amazing amount of rear end grip. It's wild compared to my previous cars.
  2. I'm certain this thing would be a blast at COTA, but not sure I want to take a convertible.
  3. The engine is a sweetheart, sounds great, but I really wish it had more torque. Breaking the tires free is real work, and even then I have to be doing dumb things to get the traction control lights on.
  4. While I've tried Sport+ to loosen the TC, I do not like that there is no playful mode. I don't want to turn TC all the way off, but I'd at least like to be able to spin the tires when launching or hang the tail out more than 10 inches without the TC cutting in.
For those with a 991.2, does the extra torque fix a lot of these issues? Can you really light up the tires with the PSM Sport more than Sport+ on a 991.1? Or does the added grip of the 991.2 mean you've got to be going even faster to slide at anything other than a stop.
