I first added headers and sport cats and my wife was pretty disappointed with how quiet the sound was. I then added the soul exhaust and now with the 3 combos she loves how loud and aggressive the car sounds.

She’s been telling me to go Catless so it could be even more aggressive.

I have Vektor Headers with Tubi catless down pipes and PSE. I think its perfect when closed. It goes off like a gun shot when open. You can really hear the turbo spool as well.

It seems there are definite mixed signals...
I asked my indy about it and he said he couldn't see any way headers would change the sound, but there are some here that say it will.

One thing that has been uncontested... Vector seems to be the way to go for headers.

I did all this years ago, before everyone became a snowflake. My pro tuner, tuned it out.

No snowflake here... Just don't want to drive around looking at a CEL.

Vektor headers and Soul sport cats on my 991.2 GTS sound amazing. You almost need ear protection on start-up in the garage! You can definitely hear the turbos spooling and the pops and bangs in sport mode are definitely amplified. With the PSE valves closed though the sound is noticeably improved but not overly loud. This is how I drive in and out of the neighborhood.

OBTW, no CEL since installing (by Porsche dealer) about 1 1/2 years ago.

I was referring to tuners being snowflakes, not wanting to code the CEL out anymore.
