Hi fellow Rennlisters! I recently installed my NM Automotive Carplay kit + their backup camera that's combined with the license plate light. (https://www.nmautomotive.co.uk/produ...e-light-camera)

I love that it's integrated in the license plate light, but I hate the blue color. I've ordered a few different sets of LED license plate lights from OEM to aftermarket, and none of them match that color. Most are just pure white (which I prefer) and I can't find one to match the blue-ish hue of the NM Auto one.

There seem to be limited options for the 991 models. Does anyone know what I can do here? Can I replace that LED panel inside the NM Auto one or do you know of a place that sells a blue hue LED light?

I know this is a small and negligible issue for some, but it bothers the hell out of me. Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks, but unfortunately the websites don’t have what we need (from my brief search).

The original title may be deceiving. We are looking for a replacement license plate light assembly to match the integrated camera/light assembly that we installed from NM Automotive.

My best guess is the stock light assembly (right) has an LED light color temp ~5000K vs the NM Auto light assembly (left) which is in ~7000K range.

Just an annoying difference that we’d like to fix.

Maybe try Amazon or Ebay LED lic plate lamp assemblies. I think I saw some 6000/7000K units before.
