I made this one and attempted to order it today at addcarlights. I got through the PayPal payment portion but PayPal brought me back to a bad url. I did get an order confirmation email and have replied to them for next steps, but haven't heard back. Did that happen to anyone else when placing a custom order?
I got an email from them asking for image I wanted. But just email them at info@addcarlights.com and give them the order number with the image.
So.........does this replace the red lense/light on each door?
Yes, you pop out the whole light assembly, unplug it and replace it with one of these. They're only held into the door card with spring clips. A plastic panel prying tool helps but most of the time you can just pull it loose with your fingers. It's a 5 minute job, tops.
I never seriously considered the door projectors. Driving a Macan S loaner this week with the car in the shop for routine maintenance. It has the projectors & I have to admit that I get a smile on the face when they turn on :-) May give in and add to the Targa this holiday. Ahh, the simple pleasures in the life of 911 jockeys.
