Default Location of Homelink control module?

Can someone explain or show me the location of the Homelink control module? Is it behind the front bumper? Google is being very unhelpful (too many hits about how to program Homelink). Thanks in advance.

Btw: I'm considering replacing the module because I get no LEDs on the Homelink buttons. Fuse (left footwell, D2) is ok. Seat heaters (and everything else I think) are fine. I tried PCM reset ('Vehicle Handover'), although I suspect that might just be for 997. If you think I might be missing something, feel free to opine on that!

Sounds silly, but did you try pulling the button panel off to check the connections?

Found this. Hope it helps. Look like you may have to remove the front bumper to get to it.

Also, here is vid of bumper removal. If you go to 13:10 you can clearly see the module.

Many thanks for the great responses!

Joec500: will definitely try that before pulling the bumper!

Porsche_nuts: Amazing! Exactly what I was looking for! I'd seen that video, but I guess I didn't watch is closely enough to spot the control unit.

I will report back with results...

Weird. It randomly started working again the first time I drove the car since doing the 'handover'. So I won't mess with it until it fails again.

Do you know by any chance what the part number for the bracket could be? I literally cannot find anything on the bracket itself. It has a rivet installed too.
