I was just looking for something like this. I remove my rear license plate any chance I get 😈 and I don't like chewing up the holes. I always try to retap the original threads but never quite sure I get them.

I like it, but wanted something more durable, simple and easily removable without tools.

I was going to go this route, but decided I did not want to drill into the bumper so I made a no drill delrin standoff. I have sold a few in the marketplace. As you sed this is great especially if you track.
