Looking at 2 different 991 gts. One has psam listed as an option, and the other does not. I thought it was standard on a GTS?
Thanks
Mark
I thought PSAM was standard on 991.1 GTS, and Sport PASM was optional. But, I could be wrong.
If there are pictures of the interior console, you should see the "Shock" button for cars with PSAM. I am not sure if there is any additional indicator for cars with Sport PASM.
FWIW, I can't find the words Sport PASM in the brochure. I would also note that it appears to be from the UK (colour) whether that matters or not.
I found this passage that does suggest that PASM is standard and something beyond that is optional. Running my VIN on Vinanalytics does not show any suspension related options so I am assuming my GTS only has PASM without the additional 10mm drop.
Going by the unfortunate condition of my front spoiler lip, I don't know that it would have survived being another 10mm closer to the ground.
I guess it depends what market you are in because 031 in my market states "Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) combined with PASM sports chassis (- 20 mm)".
I have no idea what the 352 stands for in the chart above showing 031/352.
Here's an Oct., 2014 press release announcing the 991 GTS models. It seems that PASM was standard. It lowered the car 10 mm compared to a base model Carrera. The optional PASM Sport suspension had uprated springs and lowered the car an additional 10 mm to 20 mm.

Exactly and according to the Porsche info I have, the spring rates are as follows:
Front Axle
Basic Carerra: 24 N/mm
Carrera/Carrera S PASM: 28 N/mm
Carrera/Carrera S PASM Sport: 33 N/mm
Rear Axle
Basic Carrera: 48 N/mm
Carrera/Carrera S PASM: 62 N/mm
Carrera/Carrera S PASM Sport: 108 N/mm
Good to know..
I thought Passive Sport Suspension X73 was a no cost option on the GTS.
I know that was the case for the 981 GTS platform, I thought it applied for 991.1 too.
I stand corrected:
991.1 S & GTS models have either PASM or SPASM, no passive (sport) suspension option.
