Collecting the first Porsche is a moment that everyone around this forum will cherish forever. Your car is a nice spec, I wouldn't modify, just drive it!

Couple years ago I went for a test drive in a base 991.2 with MT and was so impressed with the driving experience in that car - you don't have to have the S model or above to enjoy the Porsche experience. That said, the biggest bang for the buck mod will always be the tune. Having been through an OTS tune and a ProTune, highly recommend a bespoke ProTune that will be unique to your car and your mods at your density altitude etc.

I did it! I Pulled the trigger on a White 2019 Base Carrera 991.2 with 12,900 miles today. Picked it up for $86,xxx (before sales tax). Dealer had it on lot for 43-44 days and they were willing to negotiate. I was able to get them down 2k on asking price and put 2 new PZero's on the rear.
I think I did well, especially considering it's the 991.2 3.0 with turbos, and is such a lovely driving experience. The only options were the glass sunroof, Carrera S wheels and the smokers ashtray or whatever that thing is. Has black leather interior....no sport chrono I know, I know, but hey, it's a 991.2 3.0 tt. and for $900 bucks I can flash/tune it later & add nearly 100whp.It has PDK which I believe is standard for the 2019.
So, here's my question...besides replacing the yellowing rear fender PPF, and a good polish & wax, what should I do first? GT3 wing? lol . Flash/tune? I would love to hear advice from long time 991.2 owners on the best bang for the buck upgrades, and advice for a new Porsche 911 owner that has never owned one before. !!!!!!!!!!!!!
*If you approve of my decision give the post a like to help me get beyond "cruising". THX!!

Great looking car. I love white cars.
Did you buy from a Porsche Dealer? If yes, I wonder why they didn't CPO it.

Great looking car and I think you did really well, price, mileage, etc. Not my first but I got nearly the same car but a 2017 base car, white on black, Carrera S wheels, a few more options but 3 times more miles as a CPO. I am in the same boat. My car in Florida so the car is coming to CA with the windows tinted but I am with you, do I mildly tune it, upgrade the wheels or I was even considering checking into the cost of a limited slip diff as our base models didnt come with it from what I have read. Especially if I am going to tune it. My car being shipped so will watch your thread to see how you progress and post mine too when it arrives next week.
Oddly I cant figure out why or when Porsche dealers will or wont CPO. I have seen them CPO cars with 70k miles lately and I have seen them CPO cars with minor damage reported in Carfax. If I recall correctly, they used to never CPO a car with an accident. Only pattern I am seeing is when a car has more than 3 previous owners they dont CPO. In your case, the extremely low miles maybe to them meant it didnt need CPO and would drive up the price too much.

Congrats!!! What a lovely ride.
I know exactly how you feel since I also bought my first Porsche this year. You are dying to tune it, do something to it, etc. But after few thousand spent, I can tell you - just enjoy the car.
