Entry & Drive (Keyless)
991.2. One key inside car works. The other key inside car does not; I get "Key Not Detected". The batteries in fob are fresh. Any ideas?

I used to get this message, but a new battery in the fob fixed it.
Try making sure the second key-fob (the one that is working/being recognized) is well away from the car (i.e. leave it inside the house). In addition, make sure to try this while sitting in the car and doors closed.
Also, you are seeing this message when you are trying to start the car, but was the keyfob able to unlock the car when you walked up to the door?
I would also ensure to lock the car (after a drive and after exiting with the working keyfob), then leave that keyfob inside your home and approach the car with the second keyfob. Have you had this scenario, and still not detected?, But again, did it unlock the car doors when you place hand on the door handles?
If all this has been tried, I would suspect a bad replacement battery, or the keyfob needing to be recoded or replaced for some reason (water damage?)
Hope this helps.

Try using that key to lock and unlock the car. If it has not been connected to the car in a while it does forget the key. Sometimes locking/unlocking will reinstate the connection. Or try removing the dumb fob key and starting the car using that key assuming battery is good to go. I did the same for my wifes Macn 2nd key that she never used now all good.

Not sure about the spoiler; I could try to find out. The prior owner had the dealer add a lot of OEM carbon fiber. I may find the prior owner and ask him. It does look great.

Got a few more pics? I've got a GT silver GTS so a lot of black accents and I like carbon fiber. Is that spoiler one of the bits added? Looks a bit like the SpoilerKing eBay one but nicer finish...

Thanks for the efforts, but none of them worked. Including a new battery from a different package. The key that is not recognized does not lock/unlock door either. When I press buttons, it does flash red like the good key.

Were you able to start the car with the key that does not work. If not, you probably got the wrong key or need to get it reprogrammed.

Go Keyless
It is possible to go keyless.
and if yes, hope it won’t have any side effect in the long run.

Spoiler king have them but they are not CF. I have one for sale if you are interested as I went with the Techart style once I removed the Spoiler King. Let me know and I can send details.

I had the same problem on our Macan - somehow it got unpaired from the car. Probably since we hadn’t used the second key in a while, and the battery died. Requires a trip to the dealer to have them “remarried”. They should do it as a courtesy and not charge you.
