The other day my touchscreen on the PCM went dark. Didnt have any audio on so dont know if that dropped out too.
Got home, shut off the car and the screen came back on with the normal OEM screen whenever the car is shut off. Reconfirming the issue is with the Joyeauto.
Figured the video wire connector jiggled loose or something. Next day I went to go troubleshoot it, but couldnt replicate the failure and its working again.
Possible the Joyeauto software crashed and just needed to be rebooted? Is this an issue anyone has heard of before?
I don't have JoyAuto, but it is not unusual for electronics to glitch from time to time. This has happened to my PCM, phone, TV, etc. Restarting usually brings it back to normal.
Could also be the cable to the Joyeauto box. I have one and something similar happened to me and I needed a new display cable. Those cables are not meant to be bent and the way I had it mounted caused it intermittently lose display connection where it connects to the box.
