There is a ctek battery tender which is what I have for less money that is identical but without the Porsche logo.

If you drive the car frequently, you don't have to worry about it though.

a trickle charger isnt going to help an OLD battery,,what date is stamped on battery,,over 4 yrs. just get a new one and be done with it..

I'm going with battery too on this one. And dealer should fix given how recent the purchase.

Battery Tender is a brand of battery maintainers. They are not trickle chargers or battery chargers. Their purpose is to maintain a battery's charge while the car is sitting unused for an extended period of time. Ctek is another brand of battery maintainers.

BTW, how did your car issue play out?? Is it up and running? Let us know.

During the CPO process of my amazing 2018 Carrera T that I acquired in 4/21 , battery was replaced . Comments in CPO invoice was weak battery . So far so good -not one problem
