Fellow members, I have been tossing around the thought of possibly selling my recently acquired 2018 Carrera S. The car has 7000 miles and is certified preowned. I am finding myself with a hefty monthly payment and not driving it very much to feel it is worthwhile at this point in my life. What do you think I should list for if I decide to let her go? The car is immaculate and I purchased it through the original dealer that the original owner bought it from. He had traded it in when I bought it on a new GTS. Elderly couple in their 70s so it was never mistreated. Sport package, sport design, 18 way sports seat, Sport Chrono, Bose, pdk, carbon trim, rear wheel steer, pse, painted sunroof, porsche car cover, haven’t fully committed to selling as It is the most amazing car I have owned but it just sits in the garage especially since my three boys all play travel hockey.
any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a 991.2 S owner as well so my opinion is biased. I think Porsche hit the sweet spot for a car that's fun to drive around town, road trips, and take to the track. The turbo's are just the right size to give you NA response but much more low end torque. Unfortunately the 991.2 S seems to be under appreciated and undervalued at the moment. The color, wheels, and options should tick a lot of boxes for prospective buyers.

If the payment keeps you up at night, sell it. Do it now in the summer when sports cars sell well. Get another one when the kids get older, but by then it's gonna be all electric so you've got that to consider. I'm sure the place you bought it from will buy it back.
You bought it because you wanted it. Drive it more. I go through this with my three motorcycles. When I'm not riding them, I think about selling them or getting something else. When I am riding them, I love them, all of them.
You simply need to take time to drive and appreciate the car more. Life is short. Keep it and enjoy it.

Really depends on your situation. If it causes any financial stress or keeps you from doing other things that you want to do, I would sell and buy another when it is more comfortable. On the other hand, if it is just a lack of time more than financial, I would evaulate when your situation might change. It's expensive getting in and out of cars and worth keeping if you'll be able to drive more relatively soon.
I drive each of my cars about 1,000 - 3,00 miles a year and at times have the same thought of selling. Lot of carrying costs (maintenance, storage, insurance, capital tied up with interest rates now above 0, etc) so understand. Makes no economic sense as they are toys (unless your daily driver).
All that said, I would price it around 105K and see if you get any offers. Prices are coming down and expect they will continue to drop as economy cools and rates stay high. AI bubble aside, expect conditions to worsen and cars will resume being depreciating assets.
If financial times are tough....sell it. If its not that bad, hold on to it if you like Porsche 911s. Drive it more.....911s have now become ridiculously expensive. A almost same specced 992 ordered today is 40-50k more than when I ordered my 991.2. Your car looks AMAZING...it even has the little sport rear spoiler...
Nicely spec'd 991.2 S. You don't come across too many with the sport aero kit like that. Given the mileage and overall appearance, now's your best chance to get the most money for that car as time moves forward since the market has cooled a bit. I hate to say "sell it" but you don't really sound that committed to it now.
Wow, thanks for all the replies. Really helpful just so difficult to pull the trigger on listing her. It took such a long time to find a car that had all the boxes check that I wanted. I’ll keep everyone posted on what I decide to do and if anyone knows anyone that wants to throw a number out at me just let me know. I paid $114k for it and not looking to mark it up, but just get a fair price. I think I would need to be somewhere between $105k-$110k. Who knows….

As someone who just recently bought a 991.2 and has been watching the market since Jan 1. that's probably accurate pricing for a private sale / dealer lot. You'd get less for a trade in of course.
