Default Rear wing rattle

Hi.

Does any one have suggestions on how I can prevent my rear wing from making a rattling sound when I'm idling? I believe the engine vibration is causing the wing to rattle because when I tap on the wing, its hte same sound i hear when I'm idling or at a stop light. I think its just the plastic (top half) of the wing that is rattling.
Thanks!

Are the bolts coming loose?

There are adjustable rubber bumpers for the spoiler. Check with a post it and adjust accordingly.

Hello. Thanks for the tips. I will see if any bolts are loose and look for rubber bumpers to adjust. Will report back.

Do come back and update us. It will be helpful for the next person that searches to know what worked or didn’t.

Spoiler springs housings might be broken and rattling around. But do check the easy stuff mentioned above first.

Hello.

I finally had time to take a look at it and the issue is now resolved. Easier than I expected!

I removed the 5 screws in front of wing and slide the painted cover off. Checked for any broken clips- there were none.

I tightened the 4 nuts that attached the rubber pads under the wing.

I stuck some thin foam padding on the underside of the wing on each side. They were 1 inch by .5 inch strips.

reattached the painted cover and screws.

as I was examining the underside of the wing assembly, I noticed 4 rubber “plugs”. I hand tightened them as much as they could go.

no more rattle!

I suspect I could have skipped the whole disassembly of the painted cover if I would have tried hand tightening the rubber plugs first… if anyone encounters the same issue, try that first.

Glad that it is sorted.

And even better than you closed the loop and shared the results.
