Default Hawk Brake Pad Question

Does anyone have experience/feedback with the Hawk HP Street 5.0 pads? Looking to replace front pads on my 13 C2S, no track driving just occasional spirited weekend driving. I was planning to go with the centric posi quiets to combat the dust but the front are on backorder everywhere and the date keeps getting pushed out further and further into summer to get them so starting to look for alternatives.

I put those pads on my 2012 C2S and I really like them. I'm like you, no track and occasional spirited weekend driving. Good, well modulated bite. Not bad for brake dust, either. I've got about 5,000 miles on them now. I'll buy them again when it comes time to replace.

The HPS 5.0 is a good alternative to the factory pads.

They are typically slightly more aggressive in initial bite then the stock pads, with moderate brake dust.

Please note, we do not recommend track use with these pads.

Thank you Aaron! Any alternatives that are less dust?

Yes, the Carbotech 1521's are less dust, but you loose some stopping power.

I am adding the rear Carbotech 1521's to our site now for your application if interested.
