Default Metallic Lime Gold Successor

Hi, Rennlister shammerman's Profile picture caught my attention. I own 12.5 Launch 991.1 CS in the same color, with about 75K miles. During the season, it's my daily driver. All the regular mechanical and body maintenance has produced a timeless car. It drives and looks better than when delivered in August 2012. Every May 1st, I still smile from ear to ear, happy that the CS is ready to spark new conversations with Porsche enthusiasts and people who want to know the name of the exterior color. I've become accustomed to the CS being a snapshot superstar!

Some people dislike the exterior color, claiming it is not a legitimate Porsche color since it is not a shade of black, silver, or red. Other people appreciate a broader Porsche color palette but assert LMG is, colorfully, the product of a bad runny nose!

The improved Porsche configuration tool has made it easier to consider all the Porsche PTS colors. Ironically, MLG is the only color offered in the Yellow Metallic family. I am configuring a CS. In no order, I like the metallics Peridot, Fish Silver Grey, and Nordic Gold.
I appreciate the Rennlist community and ask for your comments and suggestions on a successor to my MLG. It will be paired with the Turbo Wheels, to succeed my Carrera Classic Wheels and, maybe, a Two-Tone EM Interior in Slate Grey and Cognac.

I'll end by acknowledging that this PTS configuration will cost almost 50% more than my 2012.5 (which remains a pain to explain....).

Happiness can be elusive at 67 years young!

I love it too! Not only the uniqueness of it but the color itself. I could no be happier and it is amazing how many great and positive comments I receive so often from car enthusiasts as well as just "regular people" at parking lots, traffic lights etc. It was nice to have been recognized @pacman007 .

I think this is a fabulous color! There is actually a MLG cab in my fairly small area. Turns my head every time!
