I just got back to 911 ownership with a 2017 Carrera 4. The car does not have PSE and not shockingly, I am a little underwhelmed with the exhaust note and seek additional volume. I also would like to retain relative quiet for neighbourhood and Highway touring hence I am interested in a valved design. Unfortunately I don’t see any on the market. Am I missing something? And are there such solutions? or are there non-valved solutions that retain relative quiet at idle/low throttle/rpm?

 

Interested as well. Don't really see anything out in the market either. Probably will go with the Soul Anti-Drone catback but valved would be nice.

 

There are a number of threads on here discussing this. In short, you will need to buy a new switch console and have a dealer or indy program it with the PIWIS if you have an S. For a non-S you need to add the wiring a wiring harness, COV, and vacuum lines.

You can add the AWE first. I believe the valves are open unless vacuum is applied. Then if you want quiet mode, add the switch/wiring/vacuum lines.
