If you have any problems installing them then just send me a PM.
And THIS is a company in Yorkshire that sells the speaker adapters if you go further and wish to change the door speakers, although I would advise just adding sound proofing to the doors at first and then re-assess.
On another subject I see you sell Carbone Lorraine brake pads. Do they make them for a 981GTS?

This is a link to the tweeters I used from Amazon UK . They are 4 ohm the same as the the Bose tweeters.

You installed a capacitor too?
What year is the 981GTS?
They are just about to release the pads for a 991, are they the same?
Thanks again.

Yes I removed the back off the old speaker with the capacitor + connector and re-soldered it onto the Daytons.
Its a 2015 981GTS but not sure about pad sizes compared to a 991. I will have to check

Equations for calculating a properly sized capacitor: https://rennlist.com/forums/audio-an...l#post17057137
The stock capacitor is better than nothing, but at 4.7uf is not ideal for the Dayton freq range. I went with a 12uf cap, a more suitable size for the Dayton, and this is how I ended up packaging it:

Done!
Completed the install, it is such an improvement!!! I have a spare set of tweeters as Amazon lost the first set for a week, so I ordered more and then 2 sets showed up, I bought a pair of plugs so no loom cutting required. I am so impressed I might try and fit the other set to my Amarok daily!
