Based on my positive experience with Softronic on my 981 Cayman, when the time comes to tune my 911 this is the route i'm going.

Any idea if Softrronic can disable cold start?
I’d like my car to start quiet in the AM.

I asked Scott about this and he said he does not recommend disabling it.

It’s because cold start is meant to pre-heat the catalytic converters. But it is a great option for those who leave their house at 5AM and don’t want to wake up their family

If you shoot a gun into the air before you start your car they won’t complain about the car.

Tune is definitely worth it! Car pulls so hard and consistently now. Can’t wait to get this on the track. Like having the ability to flash at home in the event I need to head to the dealer. When I owned my tuned (by a different vendor) 2017 C2S a couple years back I had to make repeated trips to and from my Indy shop to reflash ($50 every trip) whenever I had to go into the dealer.

I've had the Softronic tune on my 991.2 C2S for a little over a year. I've probably put a little north of 5k miles since owning the car. It's quick. I mean really quick. I've never dyno'd it nor is it important to me. All I know is that the difference from stock was breathtaking. The car doesn't 'feel' modified and doesn't drive differently. It's just go a lot more horsepower and torque and you can feel it. Installation was super easy with a little help from Scott because I'm a total novice DIYer. I can't imagine driving it in stock configuration now. I would probably be a little disappointed by the difference.

Here's my review I wrote up along with a video from back in November 2021.

Anyone try this tune at altitude? The operating pressure ratios are considerably different when you're operating between 5000 and 10,000 feet, as you are in the Denver area. I'm concerned about the ability of the small stock turbos in the base 911.2 to keep up.

10k+ miles and several track days and no issues 991.2 c2s
…before the tune mashing the gas put your head back and after the tune mashing the gas turns your stomach (unless you lose grip heh)

Not necessarily doubting at all. From other tuners, it appeared many of the base/S trims had serious gains over stock. The GTS didn’t seem to benefit as much from the tune if I remember correctly (boost already hits 17). That’s why I was asking for feedback after he drives it.
