Retrofitting OEM bucket seats

Anyone here retroft the OEM bucket seats? Is it plug and play? I have read some posts on airbag faults on US models. Is that the case too for European cars?

For me all I had to do was swap the passenger occupancy sensor from the sofa to the lwb. The rest was plug and play.
