It’s going to be a long winter - what gen/model 911 would compliment the 718 spyder?

Macans are nice - but honestly I want to own a 911. I want to have my 718 Spyder for open air summer driving and a 911 in the garage for 365…
over the past two days I have been doing a lot of research on the 991.2 4 and 4s’s - and I think it ticks all the right boxes. It is going to be driven a lot so don’t need to be concerned about appreciation of the first 911 non-Turbo turbo Porsche and whether it will be the next classic (besides I have the 718 Spyder for that!), Fly by wire steering has been perfected (according to a number of reviewers), the interior I think is the peek of technology integration and function (real buttons?! Yes please!) and it also matches my 718 Spyder interior…
so just got to decide to I go for the pure base 4 or the higher power 4S… well since I need to save a few years I have time to figure that out.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Will post back when I make the plunge!

My $0.02 -- I thought I wanted a Macan. I didn't buy one.
Then I drove an S (or GTS?) back to back with a Golf Alltrack and E400 4matic longroof.
The Macan was the most car-like of the three, but far and away the least practical. I ultimately settled for a Golf Alltrack -- the Mercedes was too gaudy of an interior and far too detached from the road overall.
