Assuming you have the HID set up?

Looking to upgrade the HID bulb and/or high beam bulb?

I am not impressed with the high beam bulb, but the OEM HID is good. Not as nice as the LED headlights (which I do not have on the 911, but have on my other cars).

My thoughts are for the high beam bulb it may be worth considering a LED upgrade? Yes I am fully aware that they are not meant for the reflector (as they were not designed for it), but as you would only use the high beams when there is no oncoming traffic any additional glare shouldn't be too big an issue. But I recognize that the light pattern on the road may be screwed up, but the high beam light currently throws light further ahead and above the spread of the HID bulb pattern.

A number of others have recommended to me Osram Nightbreaker Laser bulbs. D3S I haven’t installed them yet but will.

I did replace the high beams with those:
Osram H7 LED (64210DWXTR)

Whats weird:
One side does flicker even when the 991 is parked and locked:

Osram Laser XNN is the newest and brightest. The CBI Next Gen is less yellow and offers amazing performance.

Flickering aside (a huge issue, if you sort out post solution), how was the performance of the high beams?

quite the difference! though for high beams I think I'd prefer the warmer tone for sure. white light just isn't great for visibility.

Default Fascinating

To me the high beams have always been okay and the low beams lacking. When these come in stock ill purchase.

I found this these seem comporable noy quite as bright but better pattern and color https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_S1wJCktJ6A

Looks like you can get these at a significant cost savings on Amazon.

Has anyone changed their lights bulbs on a 991.2. I know it’s not as simple as a 991.1. I would love to but I’m not sure about removing the front bumper by myself.
