Oh? I haven't done either, but shopped around sometimes. There's some suspiciously cheap GT3 bumper kits out there, the Wicked ones seemed in the middle, and someone here posted a Wicked conversion which they seemed pleased with.

I really wish there was a unified source of information about the GT3 front bumper conversion process. Seems every person who has done it has shared a piece of the puzzle but is missing some aspect of the install. I even tried looking up Speedgallery mentioned above and they seem to be gone.

@Corner Exit @Wizo @flsupraguy Any advice to those wanting to go down this path? Things you wish you knew before you started? How well have things held up? Some consensus on the best way to mount the parking sensors? What about dealing with the 3rd radiator--for those who have it, I recall reading once that the orientation of it should be changed with the GT3 bumper? Having some flowchart of what configuration you are starting with and what you'll need to do to complete the build.

@Tangerine I found that frustrating as well, even though I spent a lot of time and energy researching it just couldn't get a complete parts list, etc. People are strangely cagey about it as well, I guess either because they're embarrassed at how expensive it was, or b/c they went replica. I'm the former, won't get into actual cost here. Suffice to say the people who say they've done it for 3-4k are either lying, used replica parts, damaged parts luckily easily repaired, or didn't install it with any completeness. No shaming btw--it's your car, do it how you want.
Know up front--it's a big deal, if you're planning on going the full-on route. I eventually just plunged in whole hog, and while I knew it would be an expensive pita, it was worse than I expected. I don't have a parts list to give you, but you can find the parts diagram online and you basically need all/most of it as you're essentially installing a complete full end due to the way Porsche does things. Honestly the bumper itself is the least of your expenses if you are planning on doing it 'correctly' (mounted completely not partially, functional ducts, no hacked up parts to make it work). Fender liners, inlet screens, ducts, and various other parts add up very, very fast. If you want the vent to be functional, and then also go for the gt3 center rad (if you don't it'll be a bit odd btw) it's significantly more--now you have to go for the impact beam (or the duct is blocked making the rad semi-pointless), ac line (might need it regardless), gt3 rad line, and rad supports, and duct. It will also depend if you already have the Carrera factory center rad already installed as I think there's some shared parts (I did). The whole hog version of the build will cost you roughly 1.5-2x past the amount of the surface bumper itself depending on your luck. Also know the 991.1 gt3 bumper is on back order for a year, or at least it was when I went to get one, and I got extremely lucky getting a new unused one that had been gathering dust, and prices have gone way up--it's 6700 iirc atm. I actually have one I bought from this Dutch Porsche parts supplier but didn't end up using it for reasons I can get into via DM, if you want it I'll sell for 2k, could be a good way for you to go, depending.
Dan at Speedgallery should still be around, they were expanding and had just moved so things were just getting settled, google still lists the old one sometimes. He's done over a dozen of them. I have his number but won't post it publicly.
Feel free to DM me for more questions.

I can share this for sure. I was quoted 10k++ for parts (oem) and roughly 1.5k installed/painted.
I then found a similar oem style bumper - same polyurethane material as oem for sale for $3,800. By the time it was done and installed my bill was $6,350. The body shop said he didn’t want to ever see my car again after the amount of time he worked out the imperfections and figment to make it look good.
All that Excessive time to make it fit and it still didn’t look perfect to me. I ended up taking it back (bottle of scotch in hand) - bought all new grills and some oem parts and it’s perfect now. But this all in cost me $8,000-$8,250.
I have a 3rd radiator already so that was easy but if I could go back - I would have just done OEM and be done with it.
I am more frustrated with all the time and effort involved and having to go back and forth, maybe a touch embarrassed on not doing OEM in the beginning. But I originally thought I was saving myself $4-5k…to only save myself maybe $2k.
So there you go.
just for the record I saw someone who bought a terrible knockoff gt3 bumper at a car show and it completely looked fake and garbage. In fact - even from 20feet away it looked terrible. It was fiberglass and didn’t line up and the vents were plastic…Maybe even had a cheap Macco Paint job. Don’t do that!
