The speedster that travelled from Naples to Amelia Island had white piping on its seats (it's a car in our local Naples club - I just checked back to my pics). That surely could be another Speedster that went from SWFL, but it's not the one I know of from Naples that travelled with us. It also appears a different blue, but without knowing the white balance it's hard to know for sure.

A more fun game is running this search and trying to figure out which ones may... be saveable.

Has anyone previously 'saved' a water damaged car? Curious what a worse case scenario would be if the water level was just above the floorboard? Can the engine survive this or would it be trashed as well? (I'm thinking a project would be fun, but not without risk)

Been discussing this with some friends. If the water line is up to the bottom edge of the door and has been for 2-3 days, it would seem the undercarriage components would be able to withstand incursion just as they do for years driving in rain and snow/salt covered roads. The insurance companies probably realize this and may put a reserve on the bid. I looked at the 2021 Taycan with 2300 miles and low water level mark. The battery is well sealed, but there is possible issues with sensors in wheels, motor, harness connectors etc to be aware of before taking on the job. But if its doable and becomes a car on the cheap, you have something to drive it, track it, off road it (ha ha kidding) then might be a nice project for an indy to take on.
