Hey 991 owners - 997 guy here thinking of a 991 at some point. Every now and then I come across an otherwise well spec'd car but it's got 2 tone seats like in this pic. I don't particularly care for this and I was wondering if the seat inserts can be swapped out? Pretty sure they can't be (other than full buckets) but if they were changeable by some method, it would make more cars available in my search criteria (.2 GTS, chalk or carmine). Thanks! Hope to join your ranks at some point

Yeah, you're right. They cannot be swapped out at will

A competent upholsterer can change it out though, would look lovely with Alcantara in the middle instead of red leather.

I've considered doing exactly that. However, with my cooled/heated seats, things got pretty hairy quickly.
