Default Fluid leak question

Hey guys. Recently picked up a 2013 911S Cab. It’s a high mileage car(103,000…great build sheet though). Drove the car back from Houston without any issues (averaged 29+mpg). Got home and let the car sit for a while. When I went back outside I noticed a reddish/pink fluid on the floor. It’s got a thicker consistency than water so I don’t think it’s coolant. Probably power steering / transmission fluid based on color and scent. I think I’ve found the source for the leak, but I can’t tell what part this is. Location of the part is on passenger side. Any help would be great.

It's tough to figure out from your pictures where this is.

The only pink fluid that I know of in a 991.1 is coolant. Does it smell sweet?

Edited: Corrected and deleted my comment on PDCC the fluid is yellow as stated below.

If it takes PENTOSIN CHF 202, then the fluid should be a dark yellow. Also not sure what fluid it takes at the moment.

Try mixing the fluid with water, if it coolant it will mix, if not then it is oil based.

It has to be coolant. There is no other red fluid. The power steering is electric so no fluid. The transmission does not use ATF, it uses gear oil which is not red.

That’s what I was thinking after reading up on the steering with the car. I’m coming from a 2007 911S Cab and obviously forgot they switched over to electric steering. I’m taking it to my Indy today to get this fixed and do the 100k mile service. Hopefully it’s not a bad fix. Really appreciate everyone’s help.

Depends on the brand. The gear oil from Bel Ray is red which I use in another vehicle.

I know you said that you don't think it's coolant but have you even bothered to remove the coolant reservoir cap to see if the coolant level appears low? If it doesn't, then your hunch about it not being coolant is right. But I would start there because Porsche brand coolant is definitely pink.

I didn't see where you stated the transmission?

PDK uses two types of oil. Gear and Clutch pack. The clutch pack oil can be red in color.

If the fluid dries with a white crusty residue it's coolant. I'd see if it mixes with water as stated above.

Turns out it was a AC & Heater Control Valve (0PB121959) that needed to be replaced.
