Default Windshield Washer Fluid Line

Hi. My windshield washer fluid line broke (see attached photo). I've ordered a new line to replace it. The angle that the line is currently coming out of the car seems a little weird and misaligned with the remaining piece. I want to make sure the new line is installed at the right place. Do you mind taking a photo of your line and posting it here? Much appreciated.

Aww, damn. Mine's broken too. Washers still work though. Should probably get this replaced before winter. :\

Looks like the whole line assembly is in two pieces, 13 and 14 here. 14 is what's broken by the looks of it.

Guys,

I would recommend against replacing the line.

It’s a poor design and it will just break again. This happens to everyone who opens and closes their frunk enough, just a matter of time.

It’s way easier to just patch it with some silicone tubing and a couple of zip ties. Takes 5 minutes and will be a lasting repair since the silicone will have way more bend cycles and right at the location where that flexing is needed most.

Here’s mine:

This has been covered in other threads btw…

Enjoy!

Sounds like a better option unless it’s under warranty.
