Anyone with a low spec 991.2 Base PDK?
Wondering how everyone is enjoying their 991.2 Base PDK and what did you sell to buy it?
There’s a CPO 2017 with 40k miles for $79k at a dealer and I’m enticed by the updates with the .2 but not sure if I’ll get bored.
Manual .2 C2 seem to be $20k more.
Thanks!

Traded a 2012 Panamera for my 2017 991.2
Looks like mine, at the same price..a good price btw. I bought it low spec on purpose because I like to mod it how I want it. You can get it all specd, but likely will pay more than to just spec it yourself.
Have it now a month and so far did:
Have tons more modding to do, so not getting bored here any time soon. Next up may be a tune and/or more audio upgrades, then cats, headers, upgrade the twin-turbo, add a rear spoiler and maybe even an aero kit. Also going to try and DIY most of it, where possible.

- Ceramic tint - sides 30%, windshield 70%
- Porsche floor mats
- Frunk Bin with Porsche Logo
- Tinted front side marker lights
- Cubby to Cupholder conversion
- Door Panel Dynamat and Sound Deadening foam
- TechArt Lowering Springs
- Powder Coated Wheels
- Musicar tweeters

I have a relatively higher spec base and the only thing that is truly useful on the street is blindspot monitoring. If you get bored, take it to the race track - it is a blast. If you do track it, then sports chrono is useful. It is a fun car. Is it more fun than a manual T with sports buckets? Nope but it doesn't suck to own such a beautiful car.

Traded my 2019 718 GTS (PDK) for a 2017 C2 991.2 (PDK).
Do I regret it, not one bit. The 718 GTS is a great drivers car, absolutely nothing wrong with it. I wanted to get back into a flat 6, the 911 has always been one of my favorite cars and remains so to this day.
718GTS
991.2
The 991.2 has the following options:
BASE 911 Carrera
0Q White
176 Sport Exhaust System
250 Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)
446 Wheel center caps with colored Porsche Crest
457 Lane Change Assist (LCA)
460 20" RS Spyder Design Wheels
489 Heated Multifunction Steering Wheel
498 Deletion of Model Designation
541 Seat Ventilation (Front)
581 Luggage net in passenger footwell
583 Smoking package
603 Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS)
653 Electric Slide/Tilt Sunroof in Glass
970 Two-tone leather interior
9VL Bose Surround Sound System
BM Leather Interior in Black/Bordeaux Red
P06 Power Sport Seats (14-way) with Memory Package
P3D Premium Package i.c.w. Power Sport Seats (14-way)
QR5 Sport Chrono Package
I do plan on tuning it in the near future, exploiting the full potential of the car is extremely difficult, even in its stock form.

When my wife pulls one of these I simply show up with a new car and take the heat. So much easier asking for forgiveness than asking for permission time to time.
I’ve only had to use the nuke option twice. It was well worth it.

Unmodified and untuned 991.2 with manual owned for 5 years. It just keeps getting better, and I am never bored driving it. There are times a PDK would have been handy, but I felt the manual transmission was boredom insurance. My spec has some luxury options, like cooled seats, Bose, moonroof, premium package and 20" S wheels. My only regret is the lack of PSE, but the money has gone to things like boats, vacations and college tuitions.
I happily traded out of a beautiful but dreadfully boring E550 Cabriolet. Never looked back at it when I dropped it off.

I have a total peasant spec 991.2 that I bought 3 months ago exactly. Only option was PDK with power folding mirrors. It has the base speakers, no moonroof, and 4 way manual seats. The reason I pulled the trigger on it was it was my favorite color (Sapphire Blue) and it was CPO with under 30k miles. I also daily drive the car and it has been amazing to drive this car on my 10 mile round trip commute everyday to work. I came from a fully loaded Lexus GSF with a 5.0L V8 that surrounded me with every possible luxury feature I could have ever asked for, but the 991.2 definitely feels more special. I have also been having so much fun modding the car with suspension, wheels, and now looking for exhaust to bring out the audio of the engine a bit more. If it is the color and spec you are looking for, go for it and enjoy it in good health!

My 2018 Carrera T (base) replaced my modified 2014 Nissan GT-R. The base 991.2 is extremely capable. I have full exhaust, Cobb tune, and some suspension mods and its very quick on the track.
